About Me

I am a first-year PhD student at Colorado State University in Biological Anthropology. In May 2024, I graduated with my master's in Archaeological Studies from Yale University. I am now working with Dr. Andrew Du at CSU, where I am continuing my studies on the evolution of the human diet.

Research Interests

My current research is on the role of nutrition in hominin evolution in Eastern Africa. I am assessing how the three macronutrients—protein, lipids, and carbohydrates —interact and impact dietary niches. I am specifically interested in how nutritional limitations and requirements may have impacted hominin diets and evolution.

I am passionate about collaborative and community-based archaeological practice and excavation. As a student, teaching assistant, and archaeologist, I emphasize the importance of collaborative, interdisciplinary, and inclusive research in archaeology and anthropology.
